|Massachusetts Royal Arch Masons Sponsor Charity Concert to benefit MAF & other charities|
The Massachusetts Royal Arch Masons are sponsoring a charity concert to raise funds for several charity programs. The “Grand Chapter Charity Concert” will be held on Saturday, November 10th, at 7:00pm at Middleborough High School.
Tickets for this performance are $12. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Masonic Angel Foundation, Inc. and will assist the Royal Arch Masons’ continuing support of Massachusetts DeMolay and the Cotting School.
For ticket information, call William Epp/508-883-6171 or Everett Carr/508-881-3551
The Southeastern Massachusetts Community Concert Band will provide the evening’s entertainment. The pops-style concert will feature music written by Masonic composers, including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Irving Berlin, and John Philip Sousa. The band will begin the concert with our National Anthem, written by Mason Francis Scott Key.
The band’s conductor is Larry Isaacson. An accomplished trombonist himself, Isaacson has performed with the Boston Pops, Boston Symphony, the Empire Brass Quintet, the Chicago Symphony, the Detroit Symphony and the San Francisco Symphony.
The Southeastern Massachusetts Community Concert Band is a non-profit organization with approximately 50 performers. Band members are musicians of all ages from towns throughout the MetroWest area and beyond — including Barrington, Rhode Island, Quincy, Marlborough, Framingham, Plainville, Mansfield, Natick, Holliston, Medway, Millis, and more. The band welcomes percussionists, woodwind, reed, and brass players. No auditions are necessary; musicians only need instruments and a music stand. More information on the band is available at or 508-533-5532.
