Other modest costs to underwrite educational and support needs
Who is Eligible?
Any worthy child served by a Masonic Angel Fund is eligible for a grant from the PALMA Memorial Fund. The local Masonic Angel Fund and the Masonic Angel Foundationís staff rely on the school personnel to make an initial determination of need. The Foundation will consider requests based on the item or service requested and the availability of cash in the PALMA Memorial Fund.
Grants from this Fund are intended to assist in the support and education of any child with financial need who is afflicted with diabetes or juvenile arthritis. The sole determination of need is made by the school nurse and counselors in conjunction with the stated purposes outlined above.
How to Request A Grant
School personnel who identify a child with needs that might be served by the PALMA Memorial Fund for Children may submit a grant request through the local Masonic Angel Fund that serves their school. The local MAF may then request assistance from the PALMA Fund.
Requests will be forwarded to the Masonic Angel Foundation, Inc. via email or fax. The Foundation will make every effort to respond within one business day. When a grant is approved, the Foundation staff will notify the Trustees of the local Masonic Angel Fund and authorize them to advance the funds to the school staff in anticipation of receiving the Foundationís grant check.
