MAF assists family burned out of home
We received a forwarded email from Barry Panish of the Marine Lodge Masonic Angel Fund of Falmouth, Massachusetts.
In the spirit of giving ,some good news to share. Last week I received a call from a counselor at Teaticket School. A family of eight [with five children in Teaticket and Mullen-Hall Schools] had just been in a devastating fire in Falmouth and had just lost all of their belongings. She asked if the Angel Fund could help out getting the children some clothes, shoes etc., I told her we would be glad to help and the next day I wrote her a check for $500. That same day she took the family to Wal-Mart and helped the children pick out all new clothes. I have a letter of thanks that I will share at Lodge in Sept. The counselor and the family were "overwhelmed with your prompt response...................and consider ourselves extremely lucky to have
such a wonderful resource available to us" That's what it's all about.
Sincerely, Barry Panish
As always, please share your success stories so that we may pass them along to the rest of the MAF online community.
Regards to all,
