| HATS
OFF TO KING HIRAM'S LODGE!
This afternoon, we received a copy of a
testimonial letter to Bro. Matthew Monroe of the King Hiram's Lodge
Masonic Angel Fund in Provincetown, MA. "On behalf of the Provincetown
Public Schools, I would like to sincerely thank you and the Masonic Angel
Fund for your generosity. the funds I requested to support some positive
after school activities for a particular student were offered without
judgment and on a same day basis. The program is in progress and I will
let you know the outcome shortly. Friends, this is an example of the good we can do with this program - one child at a time, one community at a time. It is a win-win-win situation - the child wins because we helped him or her, the school wins because they were able to better serve a child, the Lodge wins with another big smile from the community! This is what all we Masons should be doing! |

| MARINE
LODGE RAISES NEARLY $1,400 WITH CHARITY AUCTION
Monday night (November 6th) Sue Hockman and Bob Fellows sojourned to Falmouth, MA to join Marine Lodge AF & AM for their annual charity auction. The Worshipful Master told the assembled group that the proceeds from the auction were to be held aside for the Masonic Angel Fund that Marine hopes to adopt at its December meeting. The friendship was warm, the food excellent and the bidding frenzied! This was a terrific night of fraternal harmony. We mention this because everyone should remember that, while the kids must always come first, the Masonic Angel Fund program is also about bringing Masons together to work for a common purpose and cement their fraternal bonds in those good works. |
